Although the piece was published in 2016, it’s still very relevant today, and is definitely worth a look.

Eeeegh, RAND corp is the epitome of a USA-sponsored think tank. I would feel dirty just by linking it.
I hear ya, but sometimes it’s instructive to hold your nose and look inside the belly of the beast. Because to counter disinformation, it’s useful to know how it works. And although the article is focussed on Putin, this concept applies equally to Trump and his imitators.
