    I’ve worked in GI. A positive blood test could lead you to pay more for your colonoscopy because it is now diagnostic rather than screening if your results are positive. Check with your insurance to see what the best plan is for you before you accidentally inflate your bill due to trying to play it safe with a lab test before a scope.
