I’ve been using it for a while and agree. At least I know how they’re making money off of me.
Just a silly feller

I really like the tumbleweed method, seems like the best compromise between arch and debian style updates.
I forgot that only people you have agreements with can sue you. This is why Boeing hasn’t been sued once recently for their own criminal negligence.
If it was Arch you’d update once every 15 minutes whether anything’s broken or not.
They can have all the clauses they like but pulling something like this off requires a certain amount of gross negligence that they can almost certainly be held liable for.
My company used to use something else but after getting hacked switched to crowdstrike and now this. Hilarious clownery going on. Fingers crossed I’ll be working from home for a few days before anything is fixed.
TIL, thanks for the informative comment!
it does seem like a good translator for the less human readable stuff like regex and such. I’ve dabbled with it a bit but I’m a technical artist and haven’t found much use for it in the things I do.
I’m curious what you use it for at work.
It’s just like any other investment, they expect to get more money out of whatever they invest into his campaign.
Nah, a billionaire is a billionaire. There’s still people being exploited to get that much money. I don’t completely disagree, though - at least Gaben didn’t make Valve completely evil and yeah, it’s better than fucking up the property market for generations of people.
That’s a great point. AOC has more experience than Trump did when elected.
You’re literally responding to an article criticising the power consumption of ai. What do you mean where are the people? They’re right here.
Nobody will hear a statement from the other side of the story because the other side is a dead 13 year old.
It’s different for everyone, I’m overweight and don’t have tiddies at all, but I’ve seen men who looked like a fairly healthy weight who had noticeable tiddies.
I loved Elden Ring, I don’t play many games these days but it really hooked me. But also it really needs to get over itself and add difficulty options.
I do think the difficulty is part of the fun but I almost didn’t finish it because it was so all over the place, toward the end it just got grindy, bosses just turned into long roll fests until you got your one chance per minute to knock off 2% of its health bar. They feel more like endurance matches that test your patience more than skill.
Sometimes I’m dying a lot and having fun because the challenge is good, but sometimes it’s just tedious and I want to move on to the next area. I would love to be able to drop the difficulty for a bit just for those spots, hell make it an in game item called cry baby bottle for losers and wimps for all I care.
The nickname thing really puts this into perspective. Imagine saying ‘I’m Jim, my parents call me Jim, everyone knows me as Jim and it’s what I prefer to be called’ and then some absolute psycho asks what’s on your birth certificate and exclusively calls you James. The level of disrespect and lack of basic human kindness in these people is astonishing.
Yeah, I’m in my 30s and I remember how wildly different it was when I was young. There’s still a lot to be done but seeing the general shift toward acceptance is nice (where I am at least).
Power users probably just use hotkeys and type, Gnome is attractive and stays out of your way. That said - I like Plasma, too. That’s the fun of Linux, it’s so customisable to each person’s needs.
