I’m not sure if it’s the major part, or just the most vocal, but yeah: it’s pretty exhausting.
Which makes it even more fun if the “git gut” crowd complains about difficulty, because they refuse to use game mechanics that make the game easier.

I was trying to mock the fanbase which insists that FromSoftware Games would be ruined by anything making them easier, yet claim that the Elden Ring DLC is “too hard”. They don’t want artistic integrity of the creators. They want to be pandered to.
From what I’ve heard, the DLC isn’t much harder than the base game, considering you’re using the tools the game gives you.
What happened to “git gud”?
The campaign is called “stop killing games”.
And palworld isn’t dead. Youecan still play it.
Yeah, I’ve seen it in the article. But there’s currently a campaign going on that’s concerned with truly dead games. Calling a game which had a drop in player count “dead” is IMHO counterproductive, since it muddles the water for the current campaign.
No one’s pushing anybody to do anything. The dead game discourse is about keeping art alive and preserving a freedom to choose what to play.
Edit: Wow. Weird way to phrase things. A “dead” game is something you’ll never be aple to play again (like The Crew). This guy is talking about “abandoned” games.
I meant for the propietary branch.
I don’t think that there’ll be a community for a project that turned proprietary.
They promised at least that’s not how they’re going to do this, at least. But in the end, it’s easy to backpaddle on these promises.
Still: you can always fork the project.

They might, if they think they’re cheated out of money
You should read up on what the luddites actually fought for. They were actually based af.
No. Unions get the job done. 💪
Yeah… IKEA’S CEO did that… /s
Voting should not be the main strategy to fight for liberty and progressive change, since the cards in electoralism are way too stacked in favour of the already powerful minority. That’s what I meant with “voting is not important”.
When Trump lost the last election, MAGA-heads were ready to take up arms against what they considered an injustice. Why aren’t progressives ready to do so? How does the “vote blue no matter who” crowd prepare against another Jan 6th situation?
surpassing liberal democracy is a good thing. I disagree with the free society bit. What definition of “free society” are you referring to?
It’s actually not, since you treat it more like a non-falsifiable “common sense” situation, which actually excludes logical reasoning.
To me, denying the push/pull concept is dumb, I’ll absolutely conceede that the main push/pull factors may not be as prominant as previously suggested, but the play a part.
This feel to me like a “feels over reals” situation.
Waiting for some MFer to use that shit to cheat it SM64 speedruns… or maybe a TASbot module. 🤔
