Yes, we are worked ragged. I’m at work all day and the only time I see my kid is for teeth brushing and bedtime stories. I value that time. On the rare occasion they make things a bit miserable, or I’m just exhausted, but, we both enjoy bedtime routine and I wouldn’t want to give any of that up. Life is short man.

I’m not a saying I have none, but, I definitely don’t have the issues I used to. I’ve been able to install a couple distros more recently with basically no problems. I’m also installing on laptops so that could be a difference, standard hardware configs. Also the equipment I install on is older equipment because I’m poor so I’m sure that is probably working in my favor.

I use foldersync to SFTP back up my phone. But obsidian is great

I’m always blown away by the number of issues people have. I mean, I get it’s Fedora, but, on my systems nowadays I really don’t have issues anymore. I’ve thought most of these issues have been eradicated. Maybe I’m just lucky, idk.

There could be an issue with those things. You could try using a different USB stick to eliminate the stick, different USB port etc maybe try a disc instead of a USB stick if possible

Could be ram, could be bad USB stick. I9 processors apparently have an issue if that’s what’s being run

You’re right, feels like stepping into an oven, as soon as you’re in the sun you feel like you’re starting to literally cook. It’s awful, and in a city it doesn’t cool much so you can’t cool off. If heat doesn’t get you the first day try the next when you’re with down a little.
