Advertising on TV and radio stations here in the Netherlands is heavily regulated so people aren’t constantly exposed to ads, while these manifacturers can do whatever they like. It is time to start regulating TV manifacturers on data collection and showing (personalized) ads. Shit’s getting Orwellian.

After my LG C3 started showing ads I disabled the smart TV part and now use external players only for all our TV’s. I don’t trust TV screen manifacturers the slightest bit.

Or the time Sony sneakily installed a root kit on your PC when inserting a music CD.

It has turned into a hobby now that I am older and have tinnitus. Where I did mostly acid techno and hard trance back in the day, I make more downbeat music now with guitar, electric bass and drum loops or programmed drums. Sometimes together with my best mate we have dinner and after make some house music or bring the Pioneers out and mix some records at reasonable volume levels.

I was at a German store the other day and I mentioned to my wife the store was playing what sounded to me like AI generated music. Very generic music sounding like well know songs but with no feel to it. The vocals where English words or vaguely English sounding but really didn’t make any sense. Weird.
