I have several throughout the house with a couple hooked up to stereo systems. It’s really nice to be able to stream music to all speakers or to specific groups of speakers like “downstairs group”.

It’s also fantastic for keeping a grocery list. You can then pull it up on the app while shopping or have it text the list to someone else. IMO it’s by far the most useful feature.

You can also use it to check in on kids at the house if they don’t have a phone. You can use the app on your phone to “drop in” on any Alexa in your house and have basically a phone call or a video call with Alexa Show devices.

I’m one of the few that loves having these devices. But as soon as Amazon tries to charge a subscription I will be looking into jailbreaking them.

I’ve never looked up the price. Someone should say what they cost for those curious enough to wonder but lazy enough to not look it up. I offer them one vote of approval redeemable nowhere.

Saw a post on YT yesterday by a guy who had put 150k on his rivian truck doing real truck shit - towing, hauling stuff. Two years in and he still loves it. It comes with a great warranty.

The immunity just stops him from facing personal legal consequences and only after SCOTUS confirms any crimes were committed during an official act. How do they test for that? They haven’t said and will make up reasons to help/hurt whoever they want on a case by case basis.

The article title is too early to be correct though. There is a good chance this decision gets judge Cannon removed from the case. Clarence may have made it much worse for Trump.

Even this supreme court is not going to allow the case to be dismissed over the appointment of a special counsel. No other judges joined Thomas’s concurrence because it was clearly wrong. He might pick up Alito when the district sides with Smith on appeal and Trump sends it back to SCOTUS. But 2 to 7 doesn’t give them the majority.

Smith may (and should) ask to have her removed over this and previous obvious bias/errors which I believe the district judges would also approve at this point.
