Gee, I wonder fucking why Tim. What a clown.

It’s an attempt at piggybacking off the success of the first game, but they don’t take the time to understand why it was successful and if a sequel is needed. I’d love to see devs try something new when they find success instead of just pumping out a number 2.
Darkest Dungeon was just one of them titles that isn’t that suited for a sequel.
Maybe I used a mod or something, I dont know, wasnt very memorable aha (well all I remember is excessive amounts of fog), quickly gave up on it.
You could have made a private lobby. Although RDR Online isnt too exciting anyway.
A good game will sell itself though. How they spent 8 years on it, I don’t know.
I’m just not interested in any franchise because of this. LOTR is suffering from it a lot at the moment as every man and his dog is trying to cash in on the IP. That’s with tv shows and games too, it extends beyond just films for these franchises.
A lot of shit games still sell millions on the back of marketing, so for a game to sell as little as concord, it had to be a whole new level of shit along with shitty marketing.
Remember when people posted on YouTube for fun? It’s only when it became a viable business that the platform turned to shit.
I couldn’t use Heliboard because of the forced toolbar of all things. FlorisBoard lets me open and close the toolbar by holding the spacebar and because I don’t need word suggestions and stuff I swapped back to FlorisBoard. Heliboard seemed great, but I just couldn’t get it how I wanted it, so I am extra glad this update has finally arrived!
Doesn’t seem to exist at all in EU. Disgusting either way.
Yep. As more people buy GPUs that have the capabilities to use machine learning upscaling (the bandaid) then the more likely developers are to use it instead of spending time improving performance.
I see it the most in Unreal Engine games, Unreal Engine allows devs to make a “realistic” style game fast, but performance is often left in the dirt. UE also has some of the worst anti-aliasing out of the box, so DLSS for example, is a good catch all to try and improve framerates and provide some AA, but instead you just get a lot of blur and poor graphical fidelity. The issues probably don’t exist at higher resolutions, like 4K (which is maybe what they develop with), but the majority of people still use 1080p.
Oops sorry for the rant! I just got pissed off with it again recently in Satisfactory!
Pros, more fps on low end hardware.
Cons, worse image, ghosting, blur, artifacting, lower overall performance because devs rely on upscaling.
It’s existence is a crutch. Games should be made properly and not rely on ML upscaling for meaningful performance.
Hardware is insanely powerful at the moment, the problem is time isnt spent making the most out of it anymore, which then increases demand for more powerful hardware (that we dont need). The sales loop for Nvidia, except now they want to sell you ML optimised cards, which cost more.
Fuck off Nvidia.
Man, I was like why are 12 year olds voting?
The point is, we are enjoying free content without any advertising and monetisation slapped on. If that happens, then we just leave, we are not demanding free content, we just consume it because it exists. The donation model is the only one that works in this space, or this space fails as another attempt at capitalism where it wasn’t needed or requested.
Kind of fun, kind of chaos. Games start off pretty calm, then quickly turn into ability and dash spam. It feels quite clunky in places. The map is kind of confusing and unnecessarily complex. I personally think it would work better in a more traditional MOBA setup of 5v5, 3 lanes. But they are still refining it, so maybe it will turn out a lot better than it currently is.
Yeah, it sounds bad until you watch the video.
Yeah, multiplayer is preferred in their data until the 45+ age ranges. Weird article.
